Challenge
Most AI projects stop at wrappers around existing models. NeuroxAI was built to go deeper into neuromorphic computing with biologically inspired spiking neural networks, CUDA acceleration, and simulation at a scale that is technically interesting on its own.
Build approach
The project combines Rust systems work with GPU-focused implementation: LIF neurons, STDP learning, realistic synaptic dynamics, oscillation modelling, and performance work aimed at running 1 to 10 million neurons in real time.
Outcome
NeuroxAI positions the portfolio beyond generic AI integrations. It shows advanced AI systems thinking, GPU engineering, and experimental architecture work that is rare in standard developer portfolios.

Features include LIF neurons with STDP learning, dual-stream language processing, hippocampal memory systems, and neuromodulation dynamics (dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine).
